Cytovance Biologics, a US contract manufacturer of mammalian and microbial biologics, has appointed Don Wuchterl as senior vp of manufacturing operations.
Wuchterl has more than 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Prior to Cytovance, he was director of manufacturing at Dendreon's immunotherapy manufacturing facility in Union City, GA. Before this he was director of manufacturing at Shire, Human Genetic Therapies.
Wuchterl has also been senior manufacturing manager at Amgen’s fill/finish project in Co. Cork, Ireland. Prior to this international post, he held manufacturing management positions at Amgen's large scale manufacturing facilities in Rhode Island and Colorado. He has also worked at Biogen Idec and Roche.
