EIB to fund Pierre Fabre research

Bank to lend French firm €125m to help develop medicines


The European Investment Bank (EIB) is planning to lend French pharmaceutical company Pierre Fabre up to €125m to help it research and develop medicines for oncology, central nervous systems, cardiovascular issues, immunology and dermatology.

This funding would come from an EIB-European Commission ‘Risk Sharing Finance Facility’ that helps innovators.
