ELC Group opens new office in Mumbai, India
To be headed by Pooja Raj, general manager, regulatory affairs
ELC Group, a pan-European pharmaceutical regulatory affairs organisation headquartered in Cambridge, UK, has opened an office in Mumbai, India.
The Mumbai operation will be staffed by a senior regulatory affairs team and adds to the Group’s regional base in Gujarat.
Pooja Raj heads the new office as general manager, regulatory affairs.
Raj has more than 10 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals and regulatory affairs, and joins from Reliance Life Science, where she was senior manager, Regulatory Affairs. She is currently studying for a Masters (MSc) in Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs.
From the Mumbai base, Raj will be responsible for driving continued uptake of ELC Group’s consultation and commercialisation services in India, China, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore. Core specialisations will include support for clinical trials, bioequivalence studies, and delivery of RA services for the Gulf Cooperation Council region and South East Asia.
The Mumbai operation consists of a core team of senior RA staff for pharmaceuticals, plus business development teams focused on REACH, medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
