Reviews guidelines regarding remote telephone and Internet systems in trials


The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is reviewing the European Union (EU) guidelines regarding the use of remote telephone and Internet systems in clinical trials. EMA wants input from the pharmaceutical sector about the management of medicine expiry dates in trials using these systems, as well as handling unblinding, dose change and other considerations.
