eschbach has announced that it will participate in this year's Pharma MES event.
The software developer will display its smart factory technologies, as well as its AI solutions, which aim to offer a transformative approach to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
During the event, Hernan Vilas, SVP & Head of Global Manufacturing Operations at Epista Life Science and Andreas Eschbach, the founder and CEO of eschbach, will make a live presentation discussing smart factories.
Named "360° Connectivity – The Key to a Smart Factory”, the talk will discuss how smart factories can assist the progress, communication and collaboration between teams in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain.
The pair will delve into how integrated shop floor data can empower both engineers and operators to make informed business decisions.
The presentation will be held on Monday 23 September from 3–3:30pm, which visitors can attend for free.
Smart factories: the future of pharma manufacturing?
Smart factories allow for comprehensive connectivity between every team in an organisation, elevating daily shift operations in terms of efficiency and quality.
Not only can they enhance vertical co-ordination within production processes, but also foster horizontal connectivity across various operational domains.
360° connectivity can not only streamline operations, but also improve the quality of pharmaceutical products, which allows companies to cater to patient needs and clinical trial demands, respectively.
