This evolution prompted a wider review of its operations. The creation of the new entity led to a period of consolidation that saw the workforce come together at a new factory site in Greater Manchester.

Although this was primarily motivated by a desire to bring the company’s R&D function under one roof, it also provided an opportunity to examine how the business was structured and explore how a more focused approach to ESG could shape its future direction.
