MEPs request action plan to improve procurement and contract management
The European Parliament’s budgetary control committee has refused to approve the latest accounts of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), pending further inquiries.
MEPs have requested an action plan to improve procurement and contract management and sought assurances about the impartiality of EMA’s employees and external advisors.
MEPs also criticised EMA’s management board refusing to establish a new payment system.
