Extract Technology is pleased to announce the appointment of two engineering apprentices in co-operation with a local skills gap programme.
Following Extract’s successful apprenticeship history, the company is proud to participate in this important initiative by Kirklees College and Stafflex Recruitment in helping close the skills gap among teenagers and young adults. Two apprenticeships were offered to Kirklees College students:
- Josh Marsden – Multi-skilled Engineer
- Simeon John – Fabrication Engineer;i>
Both students have accepted the offers and signed their contracts; Marsden started mid August and John begins his ETL career in September.
Extract Technology is committed to the apprenticeship model as a way of introducing young adults into engineering and giving opportunities to advance their careers to senior levels. Over our 30-year history we have many examples of apprentices given opportunities to progress within the company, two of whom are currently sitting directors, proving there is no limit.
