The latest Fritsch laser particle measuring device is the Analysette 22 MicroTec plus, which is compact and priced at Euro 25,000. It offers a measuring range of 0.08-2000µm, dual-laser technology, variable suspension volume and a variable measuring range with up to 108 measuring channels.

Fritsch says additional advantages include fast analysis times, good reproducibility, ease of operation and calibration and large measurable particle size ranges in one single measurement.

The company has also added the Pulverisette 6 premium grinder, which can handle larger sample quantities down to the nano range. The grinding bowl is simply inserted into the mill and automatically balanced. It is also closed gas-tight in one motion.

Fritsch has transformed its Planetary Ball Mill into an analytical measuring system by using two Easy GTM grinding bowls with special lids, a transmitter and receiver board.

The receiver unit is inserted and adjusted just once, regardless of the number of Easy GTM bowls in use. It enables the simple and easy monitoring of thermal effects, physical and chemical reactions, or any increase or decrease in pressure.

The Easy GTM grinding bowls are available in tempered steel, hardmetal tungsten carbide and zirconium oxide with a bowl volume of 80ml.

Fritsch has also announced MaS control software for its laser particle sizers, mills and sieve shakers.
