Blanche Gattefossé Formulation Biopole dedicated to supplier’s female employees

Gattefossé says it is bringing together all its apparatus and tools in a single location with the opening of the Blanche Gattefossé Formulation Biopole. The centre, named after the woman who acted as the company’s president from 1950 to 1968, has a surface area of 1,600m2, is said to be fully compliant with France’s Environmental Quality standards and stands as a tribute to all the women working at Gattefossé.

The new facility features a personal care applications laboratory, a pharmaceutical research laboratory, a pharmaceutical applications laboratory and an ISO 8-classified cell culture laboratory.

“The opening of this new formulation biopole is proof of our commitment to provide our customers with ever more effective technical solutions that go beyond what other ingredient and excipient manufacturers usually aim for. We consider this a long term investment, a hub for innovation, enabling our group to continue to forge ahead, in spite of the fragile economic environment,” explained Gattefossé ceo Jacques Moyrand.
