Cremer will introduce the CF-425 tablet counting system at this year's Achema (stand A3, hall 3). Featuring a versatile modular design with up to 10 counting heads, this advanced linear tablet counter is claimed to maximise production speeds within a space-saving footprint.
The unit can handle a wide range of tablets, caplets, hard and softgel capsules as well as a variety of container shapes and sizes with fast and easy changeovers.
The number of counting-head modules on the CF-425 can vary from three to 10 to match each customer's required line output. Typical output ranges from 90 - 300 containers per minute, depending on the combination of product shape, size and count.
Compared with the existing Cremer high speed linear tablet counters that feature four counting heads, the CF-425 achieves this high throughput in 40% less floor space. The CF-425's advancements include full control of all motions, easier operation with fewer parameters, electrically controlled enclosure over the counting modules and improved system efficiency.
The CF-425 tablet counter handles tablets and capsules ranging in size from 2 - 30mm in length and from 2 - 20mm in width. It accommodates a wide assortment of containers, including round, oval, square and rectangular up to 200mm high and 125mm wide. Many product and bottle changeovers can be accomplished on the CF-425 with only a limited number of change parts, and even the most extreme changeover can be achieved by one operator in a very short time.
The tablet counter uses CFR21 part 11-compliant software.
