Infors, manufacturer of bioreactors, shaker incubations and bioprocess software, has announced that Peter Tunon as has been appointed as the new CEO for Infors USA.
During the past 30 years, Tunon has established himself as an expert in the commercialisation of life science tools and technologies, with a focus on bioprocessing.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Uppsala University, Sweden and has a broad background in management with a number of companies.
His experience includes tools and technologies for biological research and production, including the management of life sciences companies. In his new role, Tunon will lead the continued expansion of the of the Infors brand in the USA.
“Peter brings a profound understanding of the business of life sciences and bioprocessing”, said Michael Hawrylenko, President of Infors. “He has a wealth of experience that will be crucial for the continued expansion of our US business.”

Tunon is succeeding Simon Egli, who after three years in the US is returning to the corporate headquarters Switzerland to become the new global director of sales.
