The Legato 200 Series of syringe pumps from KD Scientific of the US is said to be easy to use owing to a high-resolution colour touch screen, which enables configurations to be created and recalled quickly.
The three basic models of pump are Infuse only, Infuse and Withdraw and Push Pull. Each is available in a programmable version for maximum flexibility and capability.
Each model works with one syringe or two and can be reconfigured in the field to use with multiple syringes.
For limited laboratory space the Legato 200 Series can be placed on its side to reduce the footprint to 3.5 x 9.75in. The display also tilts with the change to allow the user to operate the pump vertically.
