European pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) Meribel Pharma Solutions has opened its doors today.
The mid-sized company already has ten manufacturing sites, as well as three drug development facilities to its name across the continent, and is led by a team of industry experts — including former President and CEO of Synerlab, Bruce Vielle, Corporate VP of Global Operations & Supply Chain at Integra Life Sciences, Steve Leonard.
Meribel Pharma Solutions' sites are spread out across Europe, with sites in France, Spain and Sweden — covering everything from drug development to lyophilisation, multidose technologies, and stick pack/sachet production at its dedicated centres of excellence.
The CDMO will support both the pharmaceutical and vetinary health markets.
"There's a gap in the market for a niche, mid-sized CDMO that's focused, agile and dedicated to solving complex challenges," CEO of Meribel Pharma Solutions, Bruce Vielle noted.
"We're well positioned to fulfill this unmet need, as we've invested heavily in the latest technologies, while expanding our capacity to meet the evolving needs of our customers."
"As a unified organisation, our foundations are built on quality and reliability. Our regulatory and quality control experts work with our clients to ensure their products exceed the most stringent global standards," he added.
The company's name, Meribel Pharma Solutions, is inspired by the mountain range in the Alps, which is located within the Three Valleys.
Since the company integrates capabilities across France, Spain and Sweden — their interpretation of the 'three valleys', Meribel believes it nods to the firm bringing togeteher manufacturing excellence across these three key European regions.
