Monz takes over as ceo of Carl Zeiss Meditec
Ludwin Monz has been named as chief executive of Carl Zeiss Meditec.
Monz has been a member of Carl Zeiss Meditec's management board since October 2007 and is responsible for the firm's Ophthalmological Systems division. Prior to this he led the Microsurgery division for six years.
With a doctorate in physics and an MBA, Monz joined the Carl Zeiss Group in 1994 and has worked in medical technology since 2000.
