New Roche r&d centre

Roche has opened a new DM140m (US$65m) research centre in Bavaria for its pharmaceuticals and diagnostics divisions. The buildings will provide space for 360 employees.

The centre will concentrate on oncology research, r&d work on tools for general diagnostic laboratories, molecular diagnostic research and discovery and implementation projects relating to Roche's Integrated Health Care Solutions strategy.
