Moves into a new, state-of-the-art facility in York, UK

ACM Global Central Laboratory has relocated to new premises in York, UK in response to growing demand for the company’s clinical trials testing services in Europe, South Africa and the Middle East.

The new, state-of-the-art European headquarters offers 14,500ft2 of laboratory and office space, nearly twice that of ACM Global’s previous facility in the city, which it had occupied since 1999. It accommodates the company’s expanding laboratory operations, as well as its growing staff of data analysts, project managers and quality assurance specialists.

‘Our new facility enables us to continue our growth in the European market and to expand the menu of clinical trials testing services we offer our clients,’ said Jerry Boxall, managing director, Europe at ACM Global Central Laboratory. ‘The additional space enhances our ability to continue to meet the needs of our clients with high-quality laboratory services, while positioning us to take advantage of new opportunities in the market.’

To celebrate its new laboratory location, ACM Global will host a grand opening and ribbon-cutting event on 17 January 2013.

ACM Global Central Laboratory performs 20 million diagnostic tests each year, offering more than 1,500 individual assays spanning virtually all medical disciplines, including pathology, microbiology, flow cytometry and pharmacogenomics. Its services extend to more than 60 countries, with all tests conducted and managed from central lab facilities and a seamless data management process providing a single global database.
