Life science market intelligence company, Evaluate, has appointed Alex Karle as Chief Executive.
Jonathan de Pass, founder and Chief Executive for the last 18 years, has become Chairman of the Board.
Since founding Evaluate in March 1996, de Pass has overseen the development of the company into a world leader in market intelligence and analysis for the life science sector.
As Chief Operating Officer, Karle has been responsible for sales, marketing and business development for Evaluate, and the creation of new products and software capabilities. Since joining the company in 2012 as Chief Operating Officer, he has played a critical role in the launch of EvaluateMedTech, setting a new standard in integrated analysis and consensus forecasts for the medical device and diagnostic industry.
Prior to his role at Evaluate, Karle was Vice President, Strategy & Development of IP & Science at Thomson Reuters. He began his career as a Senior Associate at Booz Allen & Hamilton.
