Aptiv Solutions buys SRA’s clinical research business
Expands core clinical trial services and regulatory consulting
Aptiv Solutions, a US provider of adaptive clinical trials and medical device development services to the pharmaceutical industry, has bought SRA Global Clinical Development (GCD) to build its regulatory services offering.
No financial details were given.
SRA GCD is the contract research division of SRA International, based in Durham, NC, US. It has offices in Paris, France and Milton Park, UK.
The move will add around 100 SRA GCD staff to Aptiv Solutions, which is headquartered in Reston, VA.
‘Assimilation of staff into Aptiv Solutions is already underway, and our primary focus will be to continue to provide best-in-class service to the current SRA GCD clients,’ said Aptiv Solutions chairman and ceo Pat Donnelly.
SRA president and ceo Bill Ballhaus added: ‘We believe the GCD business, as a part of Aptiv Solutions, has greater opportunity to pursue a wider range of initiatives that align with its mission.’
