Will focus on expanding product offerings to meet needs of healthcare market

CSafe, a US manufacturer of containers for the temperature-sensitive airfreight market, has signed a master lease agreement with Singapore Airlines Cargo.

The agreement will focus on expanding the product offerings of Singapore Airlines Cargo to meet the highly specialised needs of distributors of healthcare and other products that require strict temperature management during air transport using CSafe’s AcuTemp RKN thermal pallet shipper.

The airline has more than 600 flights serving 73 cities in 37 countries.

The AcuTemp RKN is the first active controlled air container with FAA, EASA, Transport Canada, Hong Kong CAD, Irish Aviation Authority IAA and Israel CAA approvals. Since launching the product in 2008, thousands of successful shipments have been made with the product through CSafe’s partnerships with healthcare product manufacturers, airlines and freight forwarders.

CSafe recently introduced the AcuTemp SVS for pharmaceutical manufacturers who require a smaller active compressor-driven heating and cooling shipping container. The SVS shares the same reliable performance, temperature management and data recording features of the AcuTemp RKN, but in a size that comfortably accommodates shipments of less than a full pallet load.
