The new senior team will play a pivotal role in the recently announced multimillion pound investment drive, comprising a comprehensive expansion and rebranding programme, to give its international client base a world class integrated service.
Concept Life Sciences welcomes toxicology expert Colin Hardie as VP Business Development Preclinical. He has over 30 years’ experience in the CRO industry having worked for a number of key companies including Inveresk Research (Charles River), Covance, Parexel, Harlan and most recently WIL Research. During his career Colin has worked across the UK, Scandinavia and Benelux territories extensively, giving him a wealth of experience in selling a range of preclinical services including Toxicology, Pharmacology, Metabolism and Bioanalytical.
Commenting on his appointment Colin said “I come to the Concept Life Sciences Group with a strong desire to enhance my knowledge of Drug Discovery and to further my experience of the Preclinical environment, I will integrate this into adjacent services with the ability to tell the compelling story that Concept Life Sciences represents.”
Dave Brown joins Concept Life Sciences as VP Operations Director – UK. He has over 26 years’ experience in FMCG manufacturing and has worked with several blue chip and market leading companies. His background is in Operational Management, particularly using Lean principles in a continuous improvement environment.
He explains "I am delighted to be joining the Concept Life Sciences group, at such an important and exciting time. The group is experiencing significant growth in a challenging sector and I am looking forward to working with the operational team to deliver further growth and development.”
Darryl Chapman joins Concept Life Sciences as VP Sales and Marketing. He has more than 28 years’ experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within global leading companies. Having previously been instrumental in bringing innovative disruptive technology to the global chemical market latterly he has been in leadership roles for a world leading CRO providing analytical and testing capabilities to the chemical and agro-chemical sectors.
Darryl commented that he was “Excited to be joining Concept Life Sciences and was looking forward to working with the senior management team in shaping the sales and marketing process to ensure we deliver an enhanced ‘customer experience’ that constantly exceeds our customers’ expectations”.
