Corning introduces reusable plastic labware line
The Reusable Plastic Ware products complement its existing line of Pyrex glassware
Specialty glass and ceramics producer Corning has introduced a new line of reusable plastic liquid-handling products and volumetric ware.
Corning Reusable Plastic Ware products complement the existing line of PYREX glassware, providing customers with a broader portfolio of safe, cost-effective alternatives for their laboratories.
‘Across applications and geographies, established standard operating procedures and regulations require researchers to use specified materials for certain applications,’ said Jim Babashak, senior product manager, Corning Life Sciences. ‘With the addition of our new reusable plastic beakers, graduated cylinders, and volumetric flasks, we are now able to offer our customers a product that meets their procedural requirements, whether that be plastic, glass, or a combination of both.’
