The European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) are jointly organising this conference to help researchers accelerate the development of new antimicrobials for drug-resistant infections.
The event will review the challenges associated with removing some of the obstacles in the drug development process that both the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have recognised.
