CCRT will provide training and educational materials across multiple domains, including good practices, quality assurance and risk management

SGS has selected the European Centre for Clinical Research Training (ECCRT) to provide annual GMP training for its pharmacy team.

The collaboration is aimed to ensure the team is always up to date with the latest standards and international requirements to serve its customers.

ECCRT will provide training and educational materials across multiple domains, including good practices, quality assurance and risk management. ECCRT offers sessions conducted in a classroom, via e-learning or webinars, or through a combination of these formats.

Carl Van Ingelgem, SGS Training Manager, said: “We selected ECCRT for its ability to offer both open and tailored courses that perfectly match our requirements and can be adapted according to our teams. We especially appreciate the flexibility and short turnover times shown by ECCRT to help us meet our needs.”

The company has collaborated with the centre for several years. The standard of training provided, SGS says, has helped its employees develop skills and knowledge based on industry-leading standards.

Prof Benedikt Van Nieuwenhove, MD of ECCRT, said: “We are very pleased to see the long-lasting collaboration crystallise in the present collaboration with SGS to have its teams trained to the latest standards.”

With this training announcement, SGS says customers can have complete confidence that its teams will continue to have comprehensive knowledge of the latest requirements and regulations to assist them with all their needs.
