Gen-Probe adds three to leadership team

To support diagnostic products and services firm’s growth

Gen-Probe has made three changes to its leadership team in support of its future growth.

Brian Hansen has been promoted to senior vice president, global sales and service. Michael Watts has been appointed vp of Lifecodes and Prodesse and Albert Kildani has joined the molecular diagnostics product company as senior director, investor relations and corporate communications.

Hansen has been with Gen-Probe for more than six years and has led the company’s US sales and service organisation in a number of increasingly responsible roles. In his new position, he will oversee the expansion of Gen-Probe's commercial organisation worldwide.

Watts has managed Gen-Probe's investor relations and corporate communications efforts for more than eight years. He will now lead the company's efforts to grow its recently acquired business units focusing on transplant diagnostics and infectious disease testing.

Kildani joins the firm after a 14-year career on Wall Street as a research analyst, investment banker, and analyst in the healthcare industry with a focus on the molecular diagnostics industry.
