Locking Cap keeps medicines secure
Features a four-digit combination lock and fits on standard medicine bottles
An innovative device developed by US firm Cap-N-Lock allows prescription drugs to be stored safely in a small, convenient and portable container.
The Locking Cap features a four-digit combination locking mechanism that works with standard medicine bottles and sturdy PVC construction.
The Lincoln, California-based firm says it is easy to use, but virtually impossible to get past without detection, helping to prevent unauthorised and undetected use of drugs for non-medical purposes.
‘The Locking Cap is very easy to operate,’ said Joseph Simpson, president and product designer for Cap-N-Lock. ‘It protects families by blocking access to curious children and experimental teenagers. Plus, it features a compact design that allows for easy access and storage when travelling and at home.’
