Lonza’s antibody drug conjugate (ADC) manufacturing and process development facilities, operations and associated quality control laboratories in Basel received certification after rigorous tests.

The SafeBridge Potent Compound Safety Certification programme verifies performance with established criteria in management, evaluation, containment, control, and communication elements of potent compound production operations. The programme includes on-site assessment of the manufacturing and laboratory areas and equipment, training, toxicology and industrial hygiene.

Since the inception of the SafeBridge programme in 1999, six organisations have achieved certification.
