Oxford Genetics to deliver custom CRISPR mammalian cell lines

The synthetic biology company signs major supply and licensing agreement

UK-based Oxford Genetics, a specialist in innovative synthetic biology-based technologies for biologics discovery, development and delivery, has secured a multi-million pound contract with a global ecommerce provider of reagents and tools for the research and clinical community.

As part of the agreement, Oxford Genetics will leverage its high throughput automated genomic engineering platform for CRISPR modification of mammalian cell lines.

Oxford Genetics' use of automation allows it to develop new and innovative solutions, the latest of which is its mammalian CRISPR cell line engineering platform.
