QuickSTAT opens French office to serve life science industry

Global clinical trials logistics solutions company QuickSTAT is expanding its global network and cold chain capabilities with the opening of a new Control Tower in Paris, France, to serve life science clients in the region.

QuickSTAT France, a brand new facility equipped with a controlled-ambient warehouse, will provide 24/7 transportation and logistics services, as well as in-transit storage for vaccines and investigational drugs, patient-clinical specimens, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), following IATA rules and EU GDP guidelines. Services include temperature-controlled transport from controlled ambient (+15°C +25°C), refrigerated or frozen, for IP distribution, blood samples movements.

Hervé Valler has been named Managing Director of QuickSTAT France. He brings more than 16 years of experience designing customised logistics plans for life science companies throughout the world, and has helped develop solutions for clinical trial supply programmes, biospecimen management, central laboratories, diagnostics, medical devices and drug distribution.

His team will consist of local customer service and operations specialists with extensive knowledge in the transport and logistics of research/drug development and temperature control shipments. The team will provide consultation on stringent regulatory compliance, specialised validated packaging, Dangerous Goods transport, as well as best routings, including solutions for emerging market areas.

QuickSTAT France is located 2km away from Roissy CDG airport and has developed a diverse regional network that includes airlines, high speed train (TGV), and priority ground options to achieve the fastest transit time and clinical supply chain integrity.
