SPT Labtech, a developer of automated instrumentation and consumables for life science applications, has unveiled updated branding to bring together its technologies with those from recent acquisitions into a single entity.
The unified brand builds on the company’s 2021 strategic acquisitions of Apricot Designs, a liquid handling instrumentation provider, and BioMicroLab, a specialist in benchtop automation. The development also follows recent appointments to the company's leadership team, tasked with overseeing and consolidating the business's commercial, sales and product development operations.
Under the combined portfolio, the acquired businesses’ technologies will fall under the company's brand as dedicated product lines. Customers will be able to access support services delivered by the company’s team of field service engineers and application scientists.
