Marion Leschke, product manager explains: “Sensiva SC10 is designed to meet the requirements of customers who want to avoid using preservatives in their formulations. But a formulation has to be antimicrobial and the combination of both these molecules can help contribute to the antimicrobial stability of a formulation.” Together with its mild humectant, skin emollient properties, the product is claimed to improve the efficacy of traditional cosmetic preservatives like parabens or phenoxyethanol.
