Validair provides a Diamond service

Diamond Scientific has become Validair’s northern office and will trade under the name of Validair (Euro).


Validair (Euro), a UK specialist in clean air testing and validation based in Wrotham, Kent, has completed the purchase of Diamond Scientific. The company, based in Darlington, County Durham, has become Validair’s northern office and will trade under the name of Validair (Euro). It will continue to deliver the high quality service its customers have come to expect, according to Stephen Ward, Validair (Euro)'s director.

“This is an important time in Validair’s growth and a fantastic opportunity for both Validair and Diamond Scientific. In Diamond Scientific we have found a company whose dedication to quality and service is much aligned with ours. This acquisition is good news for all our customers and I am excited by what the future holds," he added.

Frank Cross, who stays at the helm of Diamond Scientific as Validair’s divisional director, said: “I am very pleased and excited that we have joined forces with Validair, a company whose outlook is very much in tune with ours, and it has given us a great opportunity further to improve and add to the services we provide.”

The Validair Group offers a comprehensive range of services, including the testing and certification of a variety of controlled environments such as cleanrooms, operating theatres, containment suites, microbiological safety cabinets, unidirectional flow workstations, pharmaceutical isolators and fume cupboards.

Validair also offers GMP compliance and validation support plus assistance with Validation Master Plans (VMP), User Requirement Specifications (URS), Design Qualification Review (DQ) and Protocol Generation (IQ/OQ/PQ).

In addition, it offers cleanroom design, construction and project management services through Validair Projects.
