Pump Solutions, a global leader in the manufacture of pumps, systems and related flow-control solutions, has appointed Karl Buscher as President. He will report directly to Bill Spurgeon, President & CEO of Dover Fluids.
The announcement follows Dover Fluid’s recent realignment of its pump businesses into three separate operating companies – Pump Solutions, Finder and Maag.
Pump Solutions (formerly known as Pump Solutions Group) comprises the Wilden, Blackmer, Neptune, Almatec, Mouvex, Griswold, Ebsray and Quattroflow brands.
Buscher joined Pump Solutions in November 2011 as Senior Vice President for the Commercial organisation. He most recently held the position of President of PSG Americas. Prior to joining the company, Buscher spent more than 20 years with ITT Corporation.
Paul Twaddell
The company has promoted Paul Twaddell to the position of Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing. In his new role, he will oversee global sales, marketing and vertical markets. He will report directly to Buscher.
Twaddell joined Pump Solutions in July 2013 as Vice President of Vertical Segment Management. In that role, he was responsible for development and execution of the company’s global vertical segment growth strategies. Prior to joining the company, Twaddell spent more than a decade with Eaton Corporation, where his most recent role was Director, Energy Marketing (Americas).
Mike Chua
In addition, Mike Chua has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Sales & Business Development, Asia. In his new position, Chua will oversee sales efforts within the Asian region. He will report directly to David Wang, President of Pump Solutions, Asia.
Prior to joining Pump Solutions, Chua worked at Flowserve as Director of Project Sales, Asia-Pacific. He also led a team at Ingersoll-Dresser Pumps as Sales & Marketing Manager, and has an overall broad understanding of the pump industry.
