Q series meets all needs
The Q Series of differential scanning calorimeters from US company TA Instruments, of New Castle, Delaware, is suitable for any application, from the most sophisticated research project to routine laboratory work. There are three models in the series: Q 1000, Q100 and Q10.
Top of the range is the research-grade Q1000, which is said to feature high performance in baseline stability, resolution and sensitivity. It features powerful Advanced Tzero technology, and includes Modulated DSC, a 50-position intelligent autosampler, and digital mass flow controllers. With optional pressure DSC and photocalorimeter capability, the Q1000 can meet the needs of the most demanding researcher, says TA Instruments.
The Q100 is a versatile, easy-to-use research-grade DSC with Tzero technology, which can be upgraded to incorporate Modulated DSC, a 50-position autosampler, a photocalorimeter and digital mass flow controllers. At the lower end of the range is the Q10, a cost-effective, general-purpose DSC that is said to be ideal for routine applications.
