As part of its global expansion plans, healthcare corporate finance and strategy specialist, Results Healthcare has relocated Executive Director Hemavli Bali to New York to head the firm's Healthcare operations in North America.
Results Healthcare has undertaken an increasing number of contracts in the US, and sees the region as key to future growth.
Results Healthcare Managing Director, Kevin Bottomley, commented: 'The patent cliff, CRO consolidation, ObamaCare, and the increasingly attractive area of age-related diseases, are just some of the factors fuelling M&A activity in the North American market. Hema will head up the existing healthcare team in the US and will draw upon the technology expertise within our New York team, ResultsArgent, to focus on healthcare-related IT solutions providers that are likely to become attractive acquisition targets.'
In addition to Bali’s relocation, Bottomley and Senior Partner, Andy Collins, will now split their time between the UK and US offices. Earlier this year, the firm appointed Fran Brown as Senior Advisor, located in San Francisco.
Bali has spent more than 13 years in financial services. She began her career in investment banks, working as a risk analyst at Nomura International and credit research analyst at Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets. In January 2005, she joined Ernst & Young, where she worked in Transaction Advisory Services across a number of industries. She joined Results International in 2008.
