Rockwell Automation has launched FactoryTalk Pharma Suite, a solution that aims to help manufacturers in FDA-regulated industries to lower risk and cost, reduce time to market and achieve operational excellence.
FactoryTalk Pharma Suite, Release V1.1, is a software suite that covers processes in research and development, clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. It comprises Track&Trace and Weigh&Dispense functionality that tracks material, equipment and personnel involved in the manufacturing process and helps customers to establish a complete and correct batch record.
Operators are guided by pre-defined workflows, and the system detects and records any deviations. This helps to prevent errors and contributes to a reduced risk of quality issues and time required for review. The software suite also includes comprehensive documentation and templates based on latest industry-standards like GAMP5, to accelerate qualification and validation at the production site.
FactoryTalk Pharma Suite is modular and highly scalable. It can be configured as a stand-alone system, or integrated with business systems like ERP or LIMS. Pre-defined interface scenarios simplify integration with these systems.
