The laboratory will offer, micro-CT, microscopy and spectroscopy services for its pharmaceutical and medical device partners

RSSL has opened a novel laboratory, which can provide a suite of advanced 3D imaging and metrology services.

The space will offer high-precision imaging and measurements, helping clients to accelerate their research and development protocols.

It will also assist customers in enhancing quality control in their workflow, while ensuring compliance with global regulatory boards.

The laboratory will offer micro-CT, microscopy and spectroscopy services, which allows for the analysis of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

RSSL is now the only contract research organisation (CRO) offering these capabilities in tandem.

The techniques used by RSSL can support companies through the entire product lifecycle, as they are suitable for material characterisation and prototyping, as well as quality analyses and safety testing.

All of RSSL's new services will be fully incorporated into its existing capabilities, meaning customers will have access to an end-to-end service.

Jacinta George, Managing Director at RSSL, commented: “By investing in our new imaging and metrology services, we are supporting innovations ranging from novel foods and sustainable packaging to precision medicines and medical devices.”

“With this latest investment, we are also proud to be further expanding our laboratory footprint and service offering as part of our ambitious long-term growth strategy. This is central to enabling us to continue achieving our goal of supporting clients to help build a safer, healthier and more sustainable future.”
