Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics buys Twin Bay Medical
Adds flexible tube retainers and single-use components for biopharmaceuticals to portfolio
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics of Aurora, Ohio, US has completed the acquisition of Twin Bay Medical, expanding its capabilities as a full service provider to the biopharmaceutical industry.
Twin Bay Medical is a Michigan-based manufacturer of BarbLock flexible tube retainers and single-use components for biopharmaceuticals manufacturing.
The company’s production facility in Williamsburg, Michigan, its development organisation and all of its employees are included in the deal.

Twin Bay Medical's founder, Al Werth, will continue to work with Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics.
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics employs 4,500 people in 16 countries. Products include films, foams, coated fabrics, bearings, seals and fluid systems.
