This latest development underscores Suncombe’s enduring commitment to reducing environmental impact while maximising reliability and operational efficiency

Suncombe, a leading innovator in Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) technology since the 1960s, has launched its all-new Next-Generation Sustainable MobileCIP® systems—a fully automated, environmentally conscious solution that delivers exceptional cleaning performance while supporting global sustainability goals. This latest development underscores Suncombe’s enduring commitment to reducing environmental impact while maximising reliability and operational efficiency.

Suncombe’s MobileCIP® systems are purpose-built to deliver high-performance, flexible CIP capabilities across a broad range of hygienic and regulated applications. Designed for portability and ease of integration, these mobile skids are ideal for cleaning process equipment, tanks, pipework, and filling lines in industries including biopharmaceuticals, food and beverage, healthcare, laboratories, and R&D facilities.

Their mobile configuration makes them particularly suited to multi-suite operations, pilot plants, or areas where permanent CIP installations may not be viable.

Engineered in response to the increasing demand for sustainable and adaptive cleaning technologies, the new generation of MobileCIP® systems features intelligent automation, optimised utility consumption, and a fully electric heating option, enabling users to align cleaning operations with net zero carbon targets and modern energy strategies.

As industries face growing pressure to achieve environmental targets, Suncombe’s MobileCIP® systems deliver high-performance cleaning while dramatically reducing the consumption of water, chemicals, and energy.

Developed in line with the company’s long-standing sustainability strategy, the units offer programmable water-saving cycles and final rinse reclaim options, along with features such as precise chemical dosing with inline dilution and conductivity verification, energy-efficient heating, and SmartCIP™ software for recipe-driven control, electronic batch recording, and full 21CFR11 and EU GMP-compliant audit trails, digital reports, and remote access.

In line with industry efforts to phase out gas and reduce steam dependence, Suncombe has also introduced a fully electric heating configuration for its MobileCIP® systems.

“Our fully electric heating option is a major step forward in decarbonising hygienic operations,” said Dave Adams, Director at Suncombe. “It offers clients a way to meet internal energy goals, reduce emissions, and streamline installation—all without compromising on cleaning performance. Our clients are asking for smarter, greener, and more flexible solutions and with this generation of MobileCIP®, we’re delivering exactly that—sustainability by design, backed by decades of proven performance.”

As part of its broader sustainability commitment, Suncombe has launched a tree planting initiative and partnered with the 'Trees for Life' program, reflecting an ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and biodiversity. For every MobileCIP® system sold, Suncombe pledges to plant a minimum of 100 trees. This initiative reflects the company’s belief that true sustainability includes both operational impact and environmental restoration.
