Genus Pharmaceuticals has marketed 5mg and 10mg tablets of the cardioselective b-blocker bisoprolol; and 500mg, 1g and 2g vials of the cephalosporin cefotaxime.

GlaxoSmithKline has introduced a 1.5mg injection of its prostaglandin Flolan (epoprostenol as sodium salt).

Lagap Pharmaceuticals has launched a shampoo containing 2% of the antifungal ketoconazole.

Elan Pharma has brought out Neurobloc injection. The product contains 5,000iu/ml of the neuromuscular blocking agent botulinium toxin type B.

Aventis Pharma has marketed 2.5mg capsules of the ACE inhibitor ramipril under the name of Tritace.

Dominion Pharma has launched Lotriderm cream, containing 0.064% of the corticosteroid betamethasone dipropionate and 1% of the antifungal clotrimazole. The company has also made available 2.5mg and 5mg tablets of the antispasmodic/anticholinergic oxybutynin hydrochloride.

Bristol-Myers Squibb has introduced Uftoral capsules containing the cytotoxic antimetabolite combination 100mg tegafur and 224mg uracil.

Generics (UK) Products has made available the compound analgesic co-codamol 8/500mg tablets; and 50mg and 100mg capsules of the antidepressant trazodone.

Wyeth Laboratories has brought out Prevenar injection containing pneumococcal saccharide conjugated vaccine, adsorbed.

Janssen-Cilag has made available Sporanex IV 10mg/ml solution for infusion containing the antifungal itraconazole.
