GlaxoSmithKline has introduced Malarone Paediatric tablets, containing 62.5mg of the antiprotozoal agent atovaquone and 25mg of the biguanide proguanil.

Pharmacia has marketed 150mg/1ml vials of Depo-Provera containing the progestogen medroxyprogesterone acetate.

Servier Laboratories has launched Coversyl tablets containing 8mg of the ACE inhibitor perindopril.

Solvay Healthcare has brought out Omacor capsules, containing 1g 90% omega-3-acid ethyl esters.

Roche Products has launched Tamiflu capsules containing 75mg of the antiviral agent oseltamivir.

Aventis Pasteur MSD has marketed single-dose vials of the formaldehyde-inactivated hepatitis A virus vaccine, Vaqta Paediatric.

APS/Berk has made available 10mg tablets of the antihistamine loratadine.

Merck Pharmaceuticals has marketed FemSeven Conti. The transdermal patches of 1.5mg of the oestrogen oestradiol hemihydrate and 0.525mg of the progestogen levonorgestrel release 50µg oestradiol and 7µg levonorgestrel per 24 hours.

Niche Generics has brought out 10mg tablets of the antihistamine loratadine.

Statens Serum Institut has introduced BCG vaccine SSI (Mycobacterium bovine bacillus Calmette-Guerin) powder for suspension for injection.

Goldshield Pharmaceuticals has marketed Codipar Caplets containing 15mg codeine phosphate and 500mg paracetamol.
