Alpharma has made available 200mg tablets of the cardioselective beta1-blocker/partial beta2-agonist celiprolol.

Cambridge Laboratories has launched 500µg and 2mg capsules of the synthetic cannabinoid nabilone.

APS/Berk has introduced a 1% and a 2% gel formulation of the local anaesthetic lignocaine, and a 1% and a 2% formulation of lignocaine antiseptic.

Aventis has marketed Telfast Paediatric tablets. The tablets contain 30mg of the antihistamine fexofenadine hydrochloride.

PLIVA Pharma has brought out 5mg and 10mg tablets of the loop diuretic torasemide.

Beacon Pharmaceuticals has launched a 200mg/5ml injection of the antimalarial chloroquine sulphate.

Genus Pharmaceuticals has added the following products to its range: 25mg, 50mg and 100mg tablets of the phenothiazine chlorpromazine; Felotens - 5mg and 10mg sustained-release tablets of the class II calcium antagonist felodipine XL; 50mg and 100mg tablets of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug flurbiprofen; 50mg tablets of the opiate analogue tramadol; and 5mg and 10mg tablets of the hypnotic zolpidem.
