VanDeMark Chemical has appointed James Romano as Vice President of Global Sales & Business Development. He will have supervisory responsibility for the sales staff of both VanDeMark and newly acquired Framochem, based in Kazincbarcika, Hungary.
VanDeMark is a leading North American manufacturer of phosgene and phosgene derivatives which are used in the pharmaceutical and other industries. Framochem, a wholly-owned subsidiary of VanDeMark, is a manufacturer of phosgene products based in Hungary.
Romano joins VanDeMark from Chemtura, where he was a Global Key Account Manager and Business Development Director. He has also served in sales management positions at Eastman Chemical and DSM Resins.
