An international audience of process engineers, R&D technicians, research institutes and industry decisionmakers will come together in Chester, UK, next month to learn about the latest developments in characterisation, testing and filter media technologies at The Filtration Society’s Annual Conference and Exhibition (30 November - 1 December 2015 at the Riverside Innovation Centre, Chester, UK).
Sponsored by Whitehouse Scientific, a world-renowned producer of calibration microspheres, the two-day event will feature the latest methods being used in a range of industrial applications, as well as emerging technologies to meet tightening legislation, more stringent standards and increasing industry requirements for finer, more demanding, filter processes.
The conference will address the many new developments that have taken place in recent years in both gas and liquid applications, with a programme of internationally renowned speakers and practical training sessions. An exhibition of characterisation and test equipment will showcase some of the latest technologies in the marketplace from manufacturers and suppliers.
A training course preceding the conference and exhibition (30 November 2015) will give delegates hands-on experience with the latest testing equipment, focusing on practical aspects and drawing upon the presenters’ in-depth knowledge of industrial applications and extensive R&D experience.
Dr Graham Rideal, CEO of Whitehouse Scientific and Science Correspondent for The Filtration Society, will be leading sessions at the training course and will also be presenting his paper, Latest Developments in Wet Challenge Testing, at the conference.
He said: 'Evolving customer requirements along with new regulatory frameworks and standards are driving improved test methodologies and presenting new challenges for the industry. I am very much looking forward to discovering the latest technologies and developments in the market to meet these ever-changing demands.'
Attendance at Filtration Society meetings is open to all - members, non-members, UK and non-UK delegates. Full details of the conference programme and exhibition, together with registration information, are available at www.filtsoc.org
