Adept Scientific has boosted its management team with the appointment of three new people.
Croatian-born Daniel Hadji-Ristic joins Adept's Letchworth base in Hertfordshire having recently completed a PhD in Physics. During that period, he designed and implemented a LabView-based control and data acquisition system for thermo-electric experiments on semiconductor structures, including the development of LabView drivers. Between studies Daniel has worked in IT support. Joining the company's board of directors is Adept general manager Michael Pisapia, bringing numbers up to four. Pisapia is well known internationally within test and measurement and process control and has extensive experience of setting-up and managing global companies and company mergers and acquisitions. He is responsible, operationally, for international sales, customer support and service and, at board level, for building on the strategic vision of Adept. Meanwhile, Bakhtiar Choudhury has joined Adept as technical sales specialist. The 27-year-old electronic engineering graduate has extensive commercial and technical experience, which will be crucial to the development of Adept's data acquisition (DAQ) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) product lines. He joins the company from National Instruments.
