The Top Employers Institute has certified Novartis and its subsidiary Sandoz as top employers for the sixth and third consecutive year, respectively.
This year, in addition to the UK branch and headquarter branch in Germany, Sandoz has been recognised globally.
To qualify for this the company must have 20 or more countries in a company’s network achieving the local certification. Sandoz is now certified in 28.
Promoting its status as an employee friendly company, Novartis launched three new wellbeing initiatives, including ones to help employees affected by cancer and mental health problems.
David Pink, CEO of the Top Employers Institute, said: “These companies help enrich the world of work with their outstanding dedication to HR excellence and because of this, they are recognised as an employer of choice.”
The certification is based on annual, international research undertaken by the Top Employers Institute that recognizes leading employers around the world and their excellence in employee environment. Novartis is a healthcare company, with Sandoz focusing on pharmaceuticals and biosimilars.
