Bayer success on the screen
Bayer's corporate image film, 'Bayer: Science For A Better Life', has received the CINE Special Jury Award in the category 'Professional Non-Telecast Division / Business - Sales & Promotion' at the 46th Annual CINE Golden Eagle Film and Video Awards Gala.
The film, directed by Sven Fleck, is made up of 'playful scenes that centre on human needs' and illustrates how Bayer's products and the fruits of the company's research are present in all areas of everyday life. 'Special touches' are provided by the shooting technique, featuring a single sweep of the camera and continuous transitions between the scenes.
'Such recognition shows that the film appeals to a global audience,' commented Dr Monika Schuetze, head of corporate branding in Bayer's communications department, when she picked up the award on the company's behalf. 'The film's title underlines Bayer's mission as an inventor company to set trends in research-intensive areas. Our aim was to capture the fascination of the realigned Bayer Group in a technically innovative image film.'
