UK pharmaceutical glass manufacturer Beatson Clark has appointed Steve Nussey to replace designer Dave Ashworth, who retires this month (August) after 48 years with the Rotherham, South Yorkshire-based firm.
Nussey has brought 28 years of experience in the glass industry to the design department, starting his career with glass mould manufacturer Esdale and completing a full engineering apprenticeship before working his way up to the role of design manager.
Nussey subsequently joined Hungarian firm Ross Mould International, where he worked as a UK-based sales service manager. After three years in sales he says he is now pleased to be back in a design environment.
‘Design is something that I enjoy and I am very pleased to be working with Beatson Clark,’ he said. ‘I’ve dealt with them before on the sales side and it’s nice to be involved now in the day-to-day business of the company.’
