Cegedim expands business in Switzerland
Acquires Swiss CRM and Direct Marketing businesses of IMS Health
Cegedim, a global technology and services software company specialising in the healthcare field, has acquired the Switzerland-based CRM and Direct Marketing businesses of IMS Health to strengthen its Swiss offerings.
These IMS Health businesses have been targeting the life science industry in Switzerland for more than a decade, notably with the IMS Pharma – PAP healthcare database and Sales@Navigator CRM system, which has more than 500 users in 30 companies.
The businesses, acquired through the Cegedim SRH subsidiary, will be folded into the Zurich division of Cegedim Dendrite, which already supplies its OneKey database, CRM, marketing and compliance systems to more than 600 users in the Swiss pharmaceutical industry.
‘We are proud of this acquisition, which allows us to enhance and enrich our offering while opening new doors in the Swiss market,’ said Martin Grubinger, general manager of Cegedim Dendrite Switzerland and Austria.
Cegedim expects the acquired businesses to contribute annual revenues in the region of €2m.
