Checkweigh UK gets heavy with packs

The TS 300 Checkweigher series from Checkweigh UK makes use of advanced electronic engineering to deliver in-process or end-of-line checkweighing operations for pack weights of up to 50kg.

The main features are touch-screen interface technology for simplicity of operator use, web enabled support for remote status checks via a standard web browser. The TS 300 Pakweigh, an intermittent checkweigher, has been designed for businesses demanding pack weights up to 50kg. As packs of product travel over the weigh-head they are stopped briefly and accurately weighed.

The weight of each pack is taken and is compared against pre-programmed limits which are used to calculate a trend factor. The control unit provides over, under and accept weight checks based on limits entered by the operator and stored under the product codes. Any pack which is found to be out of tolerance can be rejected automatically by one of several optional reject systems.

With the TS 300 Inline checkweigher, as the pack travels over the weigh-head it is accurately weighed while on the move. Again the weight of each pack is taken and is compared against pre-programmed limits to calculate trend factors. As with the Pakweigh, the Inline allows any pack outside the limits to be rejected.
